Power flushing brings a number of benefits, but mainly to thoroughly clean your old central heating system. Saving you money on bills, it’s a service that prevents expensive future costs.
Why would my central heating system need a power flush?
If your heating system takes a while to warm up or is making unfamiliar noises, or your radiators are unevenly heated. It could be that you need a power flush. Power flushing also helps with fixing radiators that need bleeding frequently or for pin hole radiator leaks.
It may well be worth your system benefiting from a power flush. Some of the main advantages are listed below:
More efficient system
Restores system efficiency
Quieter sytem
Restores heat output to radiators
Removes debris collected in pipework
Clean whole system and underfloor pipework
Better circulation and flow
Quicker heat up time
No more cold spots on radiators
Save up to 25% on bills
Rust and lime scale protection
Minimise boiler warranty problems
How does it work?
We usually connect a pump across the tails of a radiator or the standard circulator pump couplings. After connecting the pump, the water is pumped through the central heating system at high velocity which in turn loosens debris, sludge and lime scale/ We also reverse the process in the opposite direction to ensure a thorough cleanse of the system.
We then flush through clean water to remove the debris and sludge from the system. Power flushing will leave your central heating system containing only fresh and clean water, which will improve the efficiency of your system. The whole process is designed to save you long term expenditure on possible costly repairs down the line.
Our process follows industry best practice using the latest industry equipment. Best practice and high standards is pivotal to our excellent reputation in the Cambridgeshire area.
What if I’ve got a new boiler?
Even if you’ve had a new boiler installed, it’s possible that your old radiators and pipes may require a power flush in order for your new boiler system to work to its full potential.
